Having been in the recording business since 1983 Henrik Nilsson is one of the most experienced engineers/producers in Denmark. He has produced and mixed legendary albums for an incredible spectrum of international artists including Pretty Maids, TV2, Rick Astley, Big Fat Snake, Björn Afzelius, Judas Priest, Lis Sørensen, Dodo and the Dodos, News, Michael Schenker Grop, Danish Radio Big Band and many more.
As a producer, well respected for his production, arrangement and skills as a musician, Henrik has the ability to work together with the artist to bring out the best in the raw material of their songs.
Henrik is also in popular demand purely as a mixer and is regularly recruited to provide some final refinement to a track through additional production and mixing.
Henrik has an excellent studio Nilssons Basement in Copenhagen equipped with a fullblown ProTools system, API, Neve, NTP, TC6000 processors, Steinway Grand Piano and stacks of keyboards. This allows him to work on developing a project with an artist, on pre-production and often a lot of the required tracking. Nilssons Basement is also an ideal facility for mixing and means studio costs can usually be kept to a more reasonable level than by using a commercial studio.
In addition to the above Henriks special ability to work very fast and concentrated often makes him the first choice when larger music shows are being broadcast.
